Rugged as fuck.
nevada
Leaving Ely, NV. Next stop Twin Falls, ID.
Where there is a gigantic, beautiful waterfall waiting for me and who knows what misadventures between here and there.
Having lots of fun with Adam, but miss the trees of Oregon. Be back soon. Also words about this A.B. TV thing I've been working on tonight.
Sooooo....
Actually rode down "The Loneliest Road in America" tonight. Nevada is beautiful, but it goes on and on and on and on.
TIme for Breakfast and Back on the Road..
Leaving Flagstaff onto somewhere in Nevada. Somewhere... not sure where yet.
I miss Smoggie Catt.
Looking Down on Nevada
Looking down on the deserts of Nevada it looks fragile, desolate, and oddly majestic. I can't wait to explore vast foreign world on foot with Adam in a couple days.
I can't foresee myself ever living in such a world. I need my trees and forest for clarity, but there's a lot of magic and untapped adventure to be had here.
So many questions pass through my mind:
How many past peoples have crossed these colossal mountains of dust and gravel?
What did they know?
What did they think as they traversed this alien terrain?
What did they do?
Did they think what I do?
Did this the land home dinosaurs?
What kind of great treasures have been lost to the great sands?
