Life

And Other Things And Thoughts

  • I don't deal with heat. it makes me rather unproductive.
  • I don't move into my new apartment until Wednesday now.
  • I like opening again; even if that means getting up super early
  • There's something great about being up, seeing the city before it's awake
  • I'm excited to have a space where Smoggie Catt can wander outside
  • Time to wander to the grocery store to buy a box of pasta
  • This my legacy. All I own fits in one corner of my room at 26 years of age; that's kind of cool I guess.

Yesterday's Adventure

Yesterday I went to Eagle Creek in the Columbia River Gorge. I have many pictures and even more feels that I cannot put into words at this moment.

Thank you, Danil for getting me out of bed. I really needed that adventure.

I am currently trying to decide which pictures best describe the place without posting 20 pictures.

I  met some really rad people and experienced genuine, rugged adventure. Alas it is far too beautiful outside to waste time in front of a computer so I will post more pictures later.

This Morning's Head Thought Now Complete

new poem, new thought, for new (second) book.

where do you think you're going?

i really don't know

i kind of make up as I go

insanity or enlightenment or maybe something more

just go with it; get lost in it

it doesn't matter what it's called

i just want a place to call my home

one day i'll die to the tide

i've seen it in my dreams at night

but now ain't the time

it's alright to be a little hesitant

most creatures are

but it's not until you let go

you find out who you really are

Drawings

There are times when feelings (and head thoughts) are beyond words and all you can do is revert back to the most primal of all man's literature; drawings.  I literally cannot stop drawing on any and everything for almost a week now.

Are You Sure? Yes. Okay. Proceed.

  • I'm no angel, but I'm no devil either.
  • I'm a little slow in my head.
  •  My head is a mess, but my heart has good intent.
  •  I write words. I sing songs.
  • I'm a bastard of hope and rock n' roll.
  • I can't remember where reality ends and fiction begins.
  • I want to explore and learn as much as I can about the world and the creatures in it.
  • My favorite friend is Smoggie Catt.
  • I am A.B. Corduroy.

Head Thought: Ice

When did ice become a standard addition to beverages?  I think it's mostly economical. Add more ice, pour less beverage. Thus the business makes more money and with time it's just become standard. Just a thought. Can anyone confirm or deny that?
