election 2016

good morning

hello fellow earthlings...

it is november 10th 2016. donald j trump is the president elect of the united states of america.

as much as i am worried about what all those republicans with power can do at a time like this, i think we all knew intuitively we would have to fight for what we believe even if Hillary was elected.

As interesting as 4 years of bill clinton memes would have been, we don't need such distractions: now we must be more diligent about getting involved and standing up for others; be that student debt, combatting climate change, health care for all, fracking, the north dakota pipeline, all the pipelines, etc etc.

i'm asking you fellow earthlings to not live in fear.

filled with good intent, fueled by fear, we'll all become monsters.

instead, study and learn, organize and stand up, love one another, and remember when we unite under a common causes there is nothing we cannot accomplish.

liberty and justice for ALL

be free fellow earthlings

today

restless. undecided.

i've only a few days left to decide, but at this current moment i do not see myself voting in the 2016 presidential election.

i will vote in local elections.

i do not make it a habit to live in fear.

to vote for clinton or trump is just that.

to vote third party in this election feels a waste.

i've voted third party every other election.

tis that or write in Bernie's name.

you know if enough people came together to do that it may have made a difference, but we didn't mobilize well enough.

instead we jumped behind 3rd party candidates or jumped behind clinton because we were told if we did not than we were allowing trump to be elected.

i don't know how all this will resolve, but i can't in good consciousness vote for any of the candidates running for president of the united states.

head thought

in my opinion, in a successful democracy, these primaries/caucus times should be looked at as a "season" not a "race".

i don't know what it is technically called, but it's a thought i'm trying to type out.

why the race to a number?

in order to believe a government has our best interest at mind, individually and collectively:

why should not every state and territory have EQUAL opportunity to vote?

then compare test scores at the end and elect accordingly.

to me, that is what democracy looks like.

played out more often rather than sprinting to "magical number 666.6" or something i can make sense of what the founding fathers envisioned.

this is the first time i've seen the process played this far out and it's quite interesting.

as we've seen this season, the rules could use a 21st clean up.

we're still flipping coins for delegates in some places. really though.

well that and getting big money out of politics. again.

i'm going to quit rambling now.

Donald Trump is not Racist

hello fellow earthlings.

my name is a.b. corduroy.

I want to talk to you not as a american, but as an earthling.

it is election year in the "united states of america".

 the american empire is crumbling

what happens next is up to us

image.jpg

i urge you to not live in fear.

I do not believe Trump or his supporters... (as a whole) are racist.

Individually you can make your cases.

As a whole Trump and his supporters are nationalist.

I'm not saying that makes them right.

Nationality has become the racism of the 21st Century. There is a clear distinction in the two.

While I believe the passion felt by some of the Trump folks is genuine, These folks believe there are rules to follow that make America what it should be. They care about their country and their families and they have been severely distracted.

While you may have been told for years immigration/illegals are causing you problems it is not.

Land is not owned by man.

Nor is water.

we may harvest it in bits, Mother Nature is greater than any cloth flag or paper document.

If Uncle Sam wanted to clean up the land, he very easily could have.

You don't think they do all that spying and don't know how to root out illegals, do you? do you?

It's a distraction for whatever other agenda the Republican establishment has had.

Tax breaks for the richest of rich, war, etc..

I very much appreciate my geographic location on earth but realize empires rise and fall.

There are thousands upon thousands of people without homes because the US and others have destroyed Syria and neighboring lands.

even in the United States millions living poorer than I can ever fathom and I'm not well off. I struggle to pay my responsibles frequently.

On top of that climate change is and will continue to send people migrating to new lands as their former homes are destroyed or left without resources.

I have drove many many miles across the United States. There is land to spare.

if we don't share and care for what we have, be that the United States, Europe, Antarctica, wherever they will crumble just as the American empire, British Empire, the Roman Empire, etc.

To my fellow earthlings who believe Trump will get us back on track, I urge you to think bigger.

i know you work hard and you are frustrated but we can do it without fear.

United we stand, divided we fall.

i'm loosing my attention span.

be free fellow earthlings,

tartarus by acorn season

you'll remember when
not too long from now
you'll say, "a.b., you were right, friend."

on the other side of hell
there's a story of hallelujah glory
when the saints go marching in
i'll be laughing with my friends
on the side of hell
hallelujah glory

john the baptist
that homosexual fuck
took jesus down by the river

fuck what's it gotta do with luck?
i don't know if i know how to "let it go"

filled with good intent
fueled by fear
we'll all become monsters

you think i've lost it?
yeah, i've done lost it all
more than once
i ain't playing no more
i've already lost my mind in this song

i ain't no fucking messiah
i ain't no fucking king
but when it comes to liberty
all you gotta do is sing with me

la la la la long live liberty

i came by to sing rock n' roll songs.
i came by to yell revolution.
i came by for all you nonbelievers.
mad as a hatter, but i ain't evil
