Happy October

This is my favorite month of the year. I'm just realizing it's here.

it's a rainy, crispy grey outside
with hints of blue peaking through as I type

My friend Jackie Jones is in town for a few moments today.

I'm attempting to finish this cup of coffee and pay homage to my favorite month.

Focus.

I like October because the air is more crisp. The rains come back and make your hair look a lovely mess. The leaves turn yellow and red! Sometimes very quick. So keep your head up. Inhale the cool, autumn wind. Oh and layers! and warm coffee is even more yummy. And did I mention the smells? and pumpkins! and halloween! and candy corn! and acorns galore! 

Okay.. update outside. there is a definite steady pouring of rain in the happening. 

I love the rain. I wait so long for the rain. I don't have my raincoat presently on myself. But it comes in patches and has already slowed to drizzle again.

my coffee cup is almost empty. and I need to wander to see Jackie before she leaves.

happy october

i'm just realizing i didn't make one blog post all of september. 

what a month it was. there were so many adventures, my brain is still catching up. 

i saw dinosaur jr a few nights ago. thank you moe. 

i went on some crazy trips.

i took as many notes as possible. 

tim and i have recording some acorn season tracks. 3 to be exact. 

one can be heard below and the others will go up sunday morning. that's tomorrow.

we have a rock n roll show tomorrow night.

i'm excited. nervous. Eeeek!!! 

i found some magical boot showed at goodwill and a "new" pair of skinny jeans1 well jeggings at goodwill yesterday.

it rained as october began last night. this is truly the most magical time of the year. 

october is here.

i have to stop rambling and prepare my brain to go make yummy, grilled pbj's.

life is alright. more than alright. 

falling back in love with a microphone and sing along songs. 

The Leaves Are Changing Colors!

This is my favorite time of the year!

Autumn! Fall! Grey clouds! Rain! Squash! Acorns! Pumpkins!
