Magic

Wedding Weekend

It’s going to take me a moment to fully transcribe all the love and gratitude I have for this weekend.

Firstly, to Ashley Klump, for loving this crazy fox enough to give me a shot at the ultimate commitment.

Secondly, to all the friends and family, that came from near and far and helped put all the little pieces together to make this a celebration a reality! I’m going to miss a lot of names so give me time to take notes and better explain each in depth.

Off the top of my head, Chelsey, Alex Edmands, Clyshaw, Burt, Elaine, Aunt Mag, Craig and Kristie Klump, Bonnie Latham.. Damn I know I am forgetting so many! Hank! Flying Caravan! Ian Rowan! All the volunteers at TCWL!

Holy wow ya’ll! Seeing our families commingle, seeing what our little nieces found magical in nature! All the little art pieces!

The giant canvases everyone collaborated to create, the little everyone painted, we’ve yet to fully absorb, the gifts and cards from everyone, (Josh and Hank) for the handmade art gifts, all the beautiful toasts… Matt! Nate! for becoming closer and better friends! Nicole for the sound advice of staying hydrated and helping Ashley and my self in so many ways it’ll days to explain!

I am beyond words and there are many more moments to share!

It felt necessary to try and write a little while I’m still buzzing!

Atomic for the flowers!

Bethany and Brian for photos and video, we cannot wait to see!

Thank you everybody! I am so grateful and love you ALL SO FREAKIN MUCH!

Kellen and Brit for helping get the food! AAaaaah!!! I know there are so many more to thank! and I will! Either digitally or most likely in a hand written note. You made this fox and swan’s dream a reality and it wouldn’t have been the same without every freakin one of you! thank you!! thank you!! thank you!!

2017

2017 has been the most challenging, inwardly and outwardly, of my life to date.

Rather than focus on those times I'd like to take the last few moments of 2017 to give gratitude; to the trees which continually refill me with patience and perseverance and to the goddess who helped me see beyond the third dimension.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Thanks for Giving

I fell asleep stoned silly last night, listening to the rain, letting the wind blow drip drops through the window as I lay below listening to one of my favorite artist, World's End Girlfriend.

I got out of bed about 1pm, binge drinking coffee and feeling experimental. I pulled out the synth and garageband and started making noise. Below is the final, only recorded proof of that moment that has been the last couple hours or so. I don't know much about time.

I may add more tracks to this one after said shower. I also need to wander outside because I still have not done that today.

I should shower and munch on something. I am going to my friend Alan Page's this evening and a shower would give me some focus.

The last year has been one of the most uncertain of my entire life up until now and I've been very contemplative and reflective on truly what I am thankful/grateful for.

I normally don't pay this holiday of Thanksgiving much mind, but I am taking time to really contemplative the why's of whom and what I am grateful for all week.

To those that have been part of the past year, I thank you all for the good, the bad, and damn right ugly because in the past year I have remembered and discovered a lot more than I will type out in this moment. Let the music do the rest.

There's a new moon in the air tonight.

Can you feel the magic? is it all in my head?

i was told Mercury goes into retrograde tomorrow. I think that's suppose to mean something. Vibe it out accordingly.

Magic is filling the air with possibilities.

I can't explain it all in basic sentences.

i'm doing what I can though.

i'm thankful to be an earthling and happy with the forest that surrounds my thoughts.

i need to go acquire a new phone. I spilt some whiskey on the already cracked screen recently. Not purposely of course.

Now I can't take pictures and that's just not cool.

Couple more gulps of coffee before I go.

Be free fellow earthlings.

Head Thought

Sometimes I think we build such an expectation on what we expect a moment "should be" that we neglect to see the magic/blessings that are happening.

I know I do this.

The beauty is in the insanity.

Take time to think.

Take time to be.

New Apartment

I'm moving from NE Portland to NW Portland in just a few days.

It's a much more spacious apartment and I'll finally have a shower again.

Anything I could want to get to is within walking distance.

Even Forest Park is just around the corner and work will be a 2 block walk.

Not to mention I'll be living with two of my best friends.

Moving on up the hill!

Excited for the future!

Thank you magic.
